Madison Ridgeland Academy (where the girls go to school) has it's own Grandparent's Day(s) - they celebrate for many of the grade levels. Today MRA celebrated Grandparent's Day with the Elementary school.
This first picture is like a game of Where's Waldo? Can you spot Sloan?
She's got a light orange shirt with camo pants & is sitting in the middle...
Every Monday morning the kids start their week with Chapel. This was a short rendition of Chapel demonstrated for us. They were dancing & singing songs like "My Father's House", "I Love You Lord" & other great praise songs. What a joy that my kids are getting to go to a school like this one!
Patriotism is also encouraged at MRA. This morning each of the branches of service were recognized.
A Color Guard also came in for the presentation of the Flag, and the kids sang "God Bless America" and said the Pledge of Allegiance.
Here is Mrs. Smith's class getting ready for their book presentation.
Sloan in position getting ready to tell us all about her book.
Sloan read a book called Fluffy and Baron and gave all the class, parents and grandparents a description of the book.
Cam & Jacqueline in line next to Sloan.
Here's Daden showing me her book & prop.
After we went to lunch. Will had his first sprite.
It was worth it just to see his face!
He's gotten to be such a big boy!
After he got used to the bubbles he really seemed to like it.
