November 15th - Sloan at TaeKwon Do testing

Sloan tested for her Red Belt today. She's currently a Senior Brown Belt & really enjoys TaeKwon Do.

She's getting her sparring gear on here.

Here she's getting set up to show her Form.

Sloan demonstrates her Form.

Sloan demonstrates her Blocking.

I have a video of her actually Sparring, but for some reason it would not load. I may try again later.

November 5th - 8th - Mistletoe!

This week was Mistletoe Marketplace! A huge event that benefits the Junior League of Jackson. Sorry to my Bryan/College Station ladies, I still love Charity Ball just the same, but Mistletoe is an amazing machine. There is only one word to describe it ~ WOW.

My mom came in town to help with the kids while I was very busy with Mistletoe & she was a HUGE help. I didn't have to worry about the kids one time the whole week!

She also went to swim practice with me one evening & used my camera to take some pics.

October 31st - Happy Halloween!

Not only was today Halloween but it was Orange day for Red Ribbon Week. The girls wore shirts with Jack O'Lanterns on them & were so cute!

Will had a Halloween party at the Kids Klub at The Courthouse (the gym where I work).

Will was Spiderman, but he was afraid to wear his mask.

Sloan was a Warewolf but not only was Will HORRIFIED by her mask (Jen, think of how afraid Madey was when Nate wore the mask when we were all in Vegas) but Sloan was afraid to wear it as well. She thought she was going to suffocate. So Nate used some make-up to make her look as much like a Warewolf as he could.

The witches together, and of course Will had to get into the picture.

Nate with Will & Evie while Sloan was in the house having a tantrum over her mask.
One of our neighbors had a fog machine & the kids LOVED it!

We trick-or-treated with our neighbors from across the street. Evie & Christian (their middle child) happen to be in the same class at school. Our youngest are very close in age as well. It was a fun (and tiring) night.

October 26th - 30th

We had a busy week this week!

It was Red Ribbon week at the girls' school so each day had a theme.

I thought the girls looked so cute in their jerseys on Jersey Day that I had to get a picture. You know Will wanted to be in all the pictures too. 10/30

We had a couple of days of freezing temperatures. It's very early to get temps like this in our area. We came out to a frozen car & frost on all the lawns. Too bad Nate wasn't here to make sure my car was all thawed out & ready to go. He's like my own personal Boy Scout.

10/28

Shadow also came home with out a splint or any other support material on her leg for the first time in almost 4 months. We are spending this week watching her to see if her leg will continue to heal or need to be removed.

10/27

Will loves to "ride" his bike. This video was obviously taken early in the week before our cold weather rolled in. I think it's so funny.

October 25th - Pumpkin carving & introducing Deuce!

We took this weekend to carve some pumpkins.

Nate likes to use power tools for pumpkin carving. Here he is changing out the battery in his drill.

Sloan put herself in charge of scooping out the pumpkin seeds.

Here's Nate again with his drill ready...

I made an attempt at a "Halloween House". I think I would do better with a mold... This was really ugly, but the kids ate pieces of it all the same. Evie tried to stay neat.

Sloan had to take a shower after her pumpkin cleaning, but she stayed neater with the sweets.

Will was not successful at staying neat.

Here is Deuce! Nate got a puppy to keep him occupied/company in College Station. She's a precious Blue Heeler & I bet he will have her fully trained by the time we get there!

She's very sweet.

And still very small.

We also shopped for Halloween costumes. Evie is going to be a witch this year & wanted to try her costume on. She looks pretty cute. Sloan is going to be a Warewolf, Will is going to be Spiderman, I am also going to be a witch & Nate is going to be... Well, I will be sure to post pics!

October 24th - Sloan's 2nd Grade Program

On Friday at 8am Sloan had her 2nd Grade program. They had a Patriotic theme. I keep trying to upload the video of her class in the program, but I guess it is too long & after a could of hours I have given up.

Sloan is hugging Will before we have to leave.

This is the only picture of Sloan I was able to get because they keep the classes very organized back stage before hand & they had to get back to class right after the program.

I really wish I could get the video to load. It was so cute!
